6 Situations When Interview Coaching Will Help

There's a good chance that sometime during your life you will hear about somebody who will interview for a job (and be one of the finalists), but the job will be offered to someone else.

As an interview coach, I have heard this scenario many times. In fact, a few days ago during an interview coaching session, my client revealed that the reason she sought me out was because the last time she interviewed, it was down to two candidates, but the other person landed the job.

Don't let this happen to you. Here are six reasons why you should strongly consider interview coaching:
  1. You have not interviewed in a while
  2. You've interviewed, but have not been hired
  3. You want coaching on how to set yourself apart from the competition
  4. You want to make sure you are delivering strong answers and not saying the "wrong" things
  5. You need to explain a difficult situation (termination, reason for changing careers, etc.)
  6. You want to practice your answers to ensure you are delivering polished answers

No matter how good you look on paper, if you don't interview well, chances are you will not get hired. Practice makes perfect!
