A career portfolio can make a difference during an interview. Recently, I spoke with one of my clients, a 2007 SCSU grad, after he had been offered a position. He credited his portfolio as the item which impressed the interviewers the most. It demonstrated his organizational skills as well as his ability to sell himself. He stated all of the interviewers loved having the ability to look at his work while he described it.
In today's competitive job market, a career portfolio is a must. You are not just stating you can do something; you are providing evidence.
