Three Reasons You Should NOT Apply for Jobs When You're at Work
Your supervisor is out, it's a slow time at work, and the deadline for a job you want to apply for is only one day away. It might be tempting to work on the application, but here are three reasons why you should not apply for jobs when you’re at work:
1. Your company is paying you to perform their work; not to apply for other jobs.
2. Your company may monitor your email.
3. Your potential employer may not be impressed if he/she sees you applied for a job during “working hours.”
Can you think of any other reasons why you should not apply at work?
