Career Management: Job Titles
While serving in a position, it's common to be assigned additional duties and take on more responsibilities. For example, let's say that your title is coordinator, but you have been given many management responsibilities. Part of career management is to make sure your job title is officially changed to reflect your job duties. With a more accurate title, your resume will be more marketable if you ever apply for a higher-level position.
