Conducting a Confidential Job Search: Part 2
If you are conducting a confidential search, and don't want your boss to know, be careful of blind ads. It's a small world and you wouldn't want to apply for a position with a company whose owner knows your boss or someone in your company. In addition, be careful about telling coworkers you are job searching. There's an old saying, "A slip of a lip can sink a ship." Even if your coworker is one of your best friends, an unfortunate "slip" may be heard by the wrong person.
